The 2023 HS football regular season starts this Friday with 14 games Friday and another 2 Saturday.
A couple of reminders as we head into the new HS football season:
- CREW CHIEFS: TAKE CHARGE AND CONFIRM YOUR GAME WITH THE HOST SCHOOL AND SHARE GAME INFORMATION WITH YOUR CREW AS WELL AS THE CHAIN CREWS AND ECO. Make sure your crew is reminded when the game is, where the game is, where to meet at the field and when to meet.
- GAME CREWS: GET TO THE GAMES IN TIME TO ALLOW YOU TO BE ABLE TO TAKE THE FIELD DRESSED AS A CREW AN HOUR BEFORE KICKOFF. Do not mingle with spectators and anyone you might run into at the game.
- CREW CHIEFS: CONDUCT A PRE-GAME!
- GAME CREWS: CONDUCT A POST GAME!
Be prepared for wet weather Friday and possible game delays or games getting moved.
Communicate and don’t over officiate with ticky tack, nonsense calls. Get the big ones at the point of attack and watch for the nonsense away from the ball. Don’t go looking for trouble because once you walk on the field with that striped shirt, trouble has already found you!
Above all, stay safe, hustle and be careful.
